Problem
Occasionally you'll find yourself in a situation where the loads on your servo result in displacement of the output shaft. Since this loading leads the servo to rock side-to-side transversely on the rubber isolation mounts, this results in lost motion. What you sense in flight is a rather less than locked-in feel.
Solution
A simple fix involves placing a bridge across the top of the servo, which along with a ball bearing supported output shaft, stabilizes the servo assembly on its mount.
What you get
- Transverse bridge, polymer
- Output shaft stabilizer, stainless steel
- M3x6x2.5 miniature ball bearing, stainless steel
