The ProModeler DS150CLHV micro is simply the best. Nothing I’ve seen or had comes close. Strong, durable, reliable, and BEAUTIFUL are words that come to mind in describing the product. Do yourself a favor, buy ’em - you won’t be disappointed. I’ve installed mine in the rudder and elevator control surfaces of my JTM Viper 1.7 EDF. Controlled by a Spektrum 20-ch Rx, and powered by a Jetfan-120 Pro w/160A ESC and 14S 5000 pack, it’s fast!

 

I have these in the tail of a 76" PAU Extra 300. They are powerful, fast and smoother than some other servos I have in this size. And they center dead-on ever time. And for $60.. definitely worth it.. I just ordered 4 more for a 60" EF MXS. I would highly recommend these servos for that size airframe and will be my go to servo for planes like that.

I've used a lot of different brands. These are really great in my pattern plane. Super fast, powerful, smooth and quiet. The centering is perfect every time. Will be my go to brand for my next project, too.

I already wrote a review on these, but I got these for a yet a different plane. IMO these are the best servos for 60" airframes. I got 4 of these for a 60" Extreme flight MXS. The MXS is a high energy type of plane so I wanted some servos that were up to the task. I'm just a few flights in on the MXS, but WOW! The control surface authority is amazing.. it tumbles this plane so tight, I just might break it.. haha. Centering so far is perfect.. if you have any doubts, don't. Just get them.

 

I found this servo to actually be the best rudder servo I could have used in my new Element 2 Meter Pattern plane. The weight savings along with it's consistent centering qualities can NOT be beat! My plan now is to eventually replace the MKS 69HV servos I use for the aileron x2 and elevators x2 in my Element with the ProModeler 100oz-in micro servos x4. I've used a lot of different servos over the years but IMHO, this line of servos are the best VALUE in the RC market today. Thanks for a great product.

With other brands, the first 50 flights have revealed broken promises by developing play and degraded centering. However, ProModeler's DS160CLHV servos, along with spectacular torque and speed consistently deliver tight centering - with no signs of early aging, stutters, or failures! They have become my go-to servo brand.

Let me start with some pre-order feedback. John was prompt and professional answering my questions concerning the product, shipping to Canada and costs associated with my order. Before my order went through I made some small changes and he personally phoned to confirm that I had gotten everything I intended in my order. Also he inquired if I had the correct servo arms for my project. Huge thumbs up for making this sale a smooth one. Servos were shipped fast then spent lots of time in customs...nothing can be done about that. Parcel arrived in great shape, well packed and as ordered. I mounted 4 servos as per directions cutting about 2-3mm out of bracket as they are oversize as compared to other mini's (knew this in advance). Running in my shop on 6V life the servos are fast, good centering and cant wait to run them on a 2S LiPo. Will report back once I get some flight testing in the spring. Glad I took a chance trying out some new equipment. If they stand up to my style of flying I will order more. They are not inexpensive servos, but I want great gear in my 3D planes so cost is not my first priority.

Got 25 flights on my 60" Slick 580 v2 with ProModeler DS160CLHV servos. So far I am really impressed with the speed and accuracy of these servos. Learned about these servos on a RC Group Thread and the reviews on them were very good so I decided to give them a try. Gave John a call and he is great at answering any questions you might have. Excellent product support!!! Time will tell on the longevity of these servos, but they appear to be built very well and John will let you know what goes into them. Will definitely use Promodeler servos again.
