I found out about these servos from some people online. I was pretty apprehensive at first. After receiving the servo, I installed it in an all metal Axial Bomber RR10. Vanquish Currie Rockjock axles aluminum 2.2 beadlocks wrapped in ProLine TSL Super Swampers, Mamba Monster X 1/8 scale ESC with a 3800KV TenShock sensored motor Running a 3s Floureon 3000 MaH 30c battery.
I ran it with a metal servo arm and promptly went to town beating the hell out of it. Cartwheels, 6 ft. in the air jumps, creek runs, hill climbs whatever i could do to it. After about 2 months of abuse I had my first failure . . . but it was the aluminum servo horn splines, not the servo. I sheared every one of them right off! They were all still stuck inside the teeth on the servo! It happened on pavement and was a one front wheel landing after an air born cartwheel. The servo was fine and had no issues whatsoever.
Since then I have installed a Proline Big Hit servo saver and beat it some more. It has seen a years worth of Bomber bashing and now it has been transplanted into my RC4WD Beast 2 but just until I can get the next size up for the Beast. Special thanks to John Beech for being such a great guy and bringing a level of pride, professionalism, and excellent customer service that is rare today. I will never build without ProModeler again!
