Bought a cheap chinese unit to replace the dead stock servo, and was disappointed with the power and speed. Decided to do it right and bought this within a week to replace it. Unbelievable a servo this size can turn the large 1/8 scale tires this fast. My servo saver definitely needs upgraded because even after doing the snap-ring mod the saver isn't letting the servo truly shine. I also bought a dedicated 2S li-ion pack as recommended by this page, I'm not sure it was completely needed but it's good to know it's getting clean power and probably helps extend run time a bit.

Wish I would have went with this the first go around - buy once cry once.

This is definitely the nicest servo I have ever used by a mile. This servo is so fast it will astonish you the first time you use it. It’s actually comical to hold your RC car up in the air and cycle the steering from left to right as fast as you can turn the knob on your transmitter and watch the lightening quick response at the wheels. I brought this into my local hobby shop/race track and gave the guys a demonstration and it drew a crowd as they witnessed the quickness by which this servo turned the wheels back and forth with authority.



I’ve been using this servo for months now and I can honestly say it’s bulletproof. If anyone purchases one of those main stream and more expensive China made brands knowing that this servo is available then they are not making a well informed decision based on qaulity and performance. I used this servo at first in my Losi LMT and now its serving duty in my sons Slash Ultimate. This is one of the best servos, apples to apples hands down on the market. No way anyone could beat this servo at this price point.



I know John doesn't recommend it but I have several of these servos now and some of them are running of the Castle ESC BEC and they seem to be doing fine on the BEC.
